Varendra Institute of Biosciences (VIB) is a higher educational and research-oriented institute affiliated with University of Rajshahi. The institute is committed to providing quality education and research in the field of applied biological sciences. Currently, the Institute offers the Bachelor of Science (Hon’s) degree in Agriculture, Fisheries, Microbiology and Food & Nutritional Science under the faculty of Agriculture and the faculty of Fisheries, University of Rajshahi. Our curriculum provides fundamental and advanced interdisciplinary academic and professional enrichment for students who aspire to pursue careers in agro-technology, molecular, genetic, microbial, food technology, fisheries and aquatic farming, environmental and organismal research, as well as those with an interest in medical and health-related professions.
